Wild Wild West...Kinda

This past weekend was destined to be great from the beginning.  We had nothing planned, just some quality us time.  After sleeping in, we had a big huge breakfast complete with waffles, fruit, and bacon.  Then I was thinking of things to do.

After thinking for a bit, I joked about taking a road trip with no destination in mind.  Just driving.  This didn't actually happen, as romantic as that sounded.


Instead, somewhere along the line I thought it would be fun to go horseback riding in the country.  The country around here is not far.  Front Royal feels like the real country.  So we called a few places and finally found a place that had a trail ride at 4:30.

We drove out there and on our way tot he farm we found a little soft serve ice cream stand.  We stopped and got some ice cream and enjoyed the beautiful weather.

The farm was a blast and we were able to see deer, a bear from afar, and a few pygmy goats (the pets of the farm owners).  Here are a few pictures.  Enjoy!
