Home Sweet Hotel

As I write, I am sitting in a cushy hotel watching the sun go down over campus from my floor to ceiling window.  Seeing as our apartment will be invaded tonight by more people finishing the tile, we saw it as an opportunity to get away and relax.  The university hotel is super nice and quiet and calming.  Plus, I am on campus for the night so I can sprint to class in the morning after sleeping in a bit :)

This whole thing with the flooding has really tested my patience, but it's just another mini adventure God's thrown at us.  This wasn't even a bad one.  Hardly anything got ruined and our house is still standing.  Last night we had our new mattress in the livingroom (which is not much bigger) and we had a sleep over.  Which is fun, until you have to get ready in the morning and you keep tripping over the same mattress!  Sometimes it's just hard to have all your furniture in one tiny room and do homework and cook and stay sane.

The Mason Inn - Guestroom
Not too shabby.
This, however, I can live with.  Ah, this is the life for me.  I just wish we could stay here forever. :)

  1. I always think that staying in a hotel feels a little bit like an adventure :) And this one looks really nice! Sorry about the flooding, though. But sleeping in is always good :)
